Environmental Management Plans

Santos has lodged an application with the Queensland Department of Environment and Resource Management (DERM) to undertake Level 1 Petroleum Activities in parts of eastern Queensland, as stipulated in the Environmental Protection Act 1994 and the Environmental Protection Regulation 2008.

As part of the approval process, Santos is required to produce and make public an Environmental Management Plan (EM Plan) for each particular area of its operations that will be affected.

Each site-specific EM Plan must describe all proposed activities and environmental issues and their proposed management.

These EM Plans are available for public review as detailed below. All submissions must be:

• written and signed by or for each person who makes the submission
• state the name and address of each signatory
• made to the DERM through the Petroleum and Gas Unit, GPO Box 2454, Brisbane QLD 4001, Attention: Chris Shaw
• received before the end of the submission period.
