The Santos Procurement & Logistics team manages all procurement and logistics activities for the company and its partners within Australia, including strategic sourcing, purchasing, logistics, inventory management and accounts payable.

Supplier registration for the GLNG project

GLNG will appoint various local and international engineering firms as Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractors. Through the ICN QLD website, interested parties can register to seek prequalification by the EPC contractors. The ICN QLD web-based suppliers’ database will be made available to all major EPC contractors.

 The ICN website comprises three key sub-projects:

• Upstream (the exploration and production of CSG in the Surat and Bowen Basin gas fields)
• Pipeline (construction and operation of a 435-kilometre gas pipeline from the gas fields to Gladstone)
• Downstream (construction and operation of a gas liquefaction and export facility on Curtis Island and associated infrastructure).

Business entities interested in obtaining prequalification must register their interest against a particular sub-project dependent on their field of expertise. Even if you have previously registered on the Santos website you must also register on the ICN website. This will ensure your business can be considered for participation on the GLNG project. Santos will progressively be making contact with those already registered to inform them of this process.
